Batman Forever Poster

Batman Forever has always been a favorite of mine. I decided that it would be fun to make a photoshop painting of the original movie poster of Val Kilmer as Batman by John Alvin (https://johnalvinart.com). In this, you will see the breakdown and comparison of my painting to the original movie poster.

I started out by vectorizing the original movie poster in CorelDraw to block out the main shapes. Then I set out to break it down to the different layers from the cloudy night sky with bat signal Background, then the cape, the glove and of course the face of Batman.
The final version is a pretty faithful creation, inspired by John Alvin's work and Val Kilmers depiction Batman.
